Transit had brought this item forward. The Abbott Drive westbound approach to Parklawn has two lanes. The right lane has been marked to be a Right Turn only. Transit drivers pull over to the bus stop in the right turn only lane, but need to go straight onto Abbott Drive west of Parklawn. Transit drivers have noticed that some motorist use the right lane and then go straight. The requested sign will inform motorist that the right lane is for right turn only traffic but will allow transit busses to go straight from the right lane to continue on their route. Staff recommends approval.
