Recommendation
Engineering staff has conducted a preliminary review of this item. More research time is needed to determine why the stop signs are being requested. Staff has contacted Mr. Glen Norder from the school district to see if there are some adjustments that could be made to student drop off or if other pedestrian related signing would be more beneficial. Normally, staff would conduct traffic counts on Rempe Drive, but has not done so yet. Staff recommend placing on hold until more information can be researched.
Recommended Motion: Move to place this item on hold until the October 6, 2014 meeting.
