Recommendation
This item 16-0775 and item 16-0776 are related. This referral was made by Public Works. The Summit Avenue and Delafield Street corridors are being reconstructed. At the intersection of Summit Avenue & Delafield / Spring Street, the northern leg of the corridor will change slightly and will require the installation of No Parking zones on both sides of Delafield Street from the intersection of Summit Avenue north to a distance of 200 feet. Removing parking in this area will insure safe driving conditions at a location of the intersection where congestion is prevalent. This item is for the approval of No Parking Any Time on the east side of Delafield Street from Summit Avenue to 200 feet north. Staff recommends approval.
The new parking zones will not go into affect until after the completion of construction in November of 2016.
