Recommendation

Referral was made by Public Works on behalf of the Mayor.  Due to the construction project on W. Main Street, the Memorial Day parade and July 4^th parade routes will need to be changed to go around the construction.  The proposal is to close River Front Plaza (Lot 1) parking lot during the parades to allow the parade route along this parking lot.  Both parade dates are on a Monday.  Staff recommends approval of this request.
