Recommendation
This item was referred by Public Works. Concerned residents in the area have requested Center Road to have a 3 Ton truck weight limit established. This item is to ask for approval to establish the weight restriction. The committee discussed this item at their February 1, 2021, meeting and decided to place the item on hold in order to have the new alderman, Ald. Frank McElderry give his opinion on the item. Staff has contacted Ald. McElderry and he is aware of the item and plans to attend the March 1, 2021, Building and Grounds meeting.
