Recommendation
Referral was made by Public Works with approval from chairman E. Payne. As a part of the Meijer store project, Tenny Avenue will be reconstructed from E. Sunset Drive to the south past the new store. When the construction is completed, the new roadway will be 4 lanes with a median. No vehicles will be allowed to park on either side of Tenny Avenue in this location. Staff recommends approval of the No Parking zones. The cost for installing the signs will be paid for by Meijer.
The new parking zones will not go into affect until after the Meijer Store opens in August 2016.
