Recommendation
This item was brought forward by Ald. Cummings in response to a recent pedestrian accident within the crosswalk. The resident was crossing Racine Avenue at Roberta Ave. The Department of Public Works was made aware of this incident and has discussed the issue with Waukesha County. The County has jurisdiction of this intersection. City Engineering staff and the traffic engineer from the County have been discussing this location and the County will be taking the lead on a study of the intersection. The City has provided the County with some traffic data for the intersection. This item is a matter of report and Engineering staff will periodically update the Building and Grounds Committee on progress and / or findings of any study.
