Staff has reviewed this request. The item was presented by Ald. Francoeur in response to resident concerns about the intersection of Madison Street and Prairie Song Drive. The Howell Oaks development has installed new streets south of Madison Street that connect to Prairie Song. It has been determined that stop signs are needed on the new northbound approach of Prairie Song Drive. Southbound Prairie Song already has a stop sign. Staff agrees with installing this stop sign. Staff will also bill the cost of installing the stop sign to the Howell Oaks development.
Recommended Motion: Move to approve the installation of stop sign on northbound Prairie Song Drive at Madison Street.
