Recommendation
This referral was made by Ald. Hernandez. Residents in this neighborhood have requested the installation of an All Way stop at the intersection of N. Greenfield Avenue & National Avenue. Currently National Avenue stops at Greenfield. Residents have provided a signed petition which is attached. Staff has reviewed this request and recommends approval based on the fact that there are obstructed sight lines with the topography of the area which affects drivers on National Avenue who have a difficult time seeing traffic on Greenfield Ave. Installation of an All Way stop will bring all drivers to a stop. Staff recommends approval of this item.
