The Public Works Dept. recommends to formally rename the portion of the West Bypass project concurrent with Merrill Hills Road to Les Paul Pkwy, and to formally name the new portions of the bypass within the city limits. With the completion of the West Bypass project, the County and the State DOT have agreed to sign the new portion of the U.S. Highway 18 bypass as Les Paul Pkwy, thus creating a single name for the bypass from Moreland Boulevard in the East to Summit Avenue in the West.
