Recommendation
Residents have seen semi trucks traveling southbound (primarily) and northbound on N. Greenfield Avenue from Arcadian Ave to E. Broadway. There should be no reason for semi trucks to use this street. One block east, Perkins Avenue, Fredrick Street and Pearl Street are designated as trucking routes to get to and from Les Paul Parkway. Currently, N. Greenfield Ave from Racine to E. Broadway and from Arcadian Avenue to E. Main Street has 3 ton weight limits established. The section of N. Greenfield Ave from E. Broadway to Arcadian Ave does not have any restrictions. This request is to establish a 3 ton weight limit on N. Greenfield Ave. from E. Broadway to Arcadian Ave. Staff recommends approval of this request.
