Engineering staff has reviewed this item. Our recommendation is to leave the parking zone as a 15 minute parking zone. Staff supports a uniform downtown parking zone that is 2 hours long and most of the street parking downtown has 2 hour. The approval of a 15 minute parking zone at this location was a special consideration granted by the Buildings & Grounds committee in March 2012.
Recommended Motion: Move to deny the request to modify the parking restrictions on Grand Avenue from 15 minute parking to 30 minute parking in front of 740 N. Grand Avenue.
