Recommendation
At the June 16, 2014 B & G meeting, several stop sign installations were recommended for approval in the Rivers Crossing neighborhood. Engineering staff conducted a traffic study of the neighborhood and concluded that stop signs were needed at 14 intersections. B & G committee elected to only approve 6 of installations and to defer other approvals until later in 2014 or early 2015.
Engineering staff has done a follow up review and is requesting approval for stop signs at 4 of the remaining 8 locations. The 4 locations are represented in this agenda as items ID#14-1740, 1741, 1742, and 1743.
Recommended motion: Move to approve the installation of a stop sign on westbound Portage Trail at Stillwater Circle.
