Recommendation
This referral was made by Ald. Helgestad. A recent accident at the intersection of Broadway & Pleasant Street has prompted concerned citizens to request additional lighting to better cover this intersection. Engineering staff has reviewed this location and determined that additional lighting would be beneficial. For this installation, we would ask WE Energies to install a leased street light on an existing power pole located near the corner of the intersection. Staff has reviewed and agrees with this installation and recommends approval.
