Recommendation
Engineering staff has reviewed this item to install stop signs on Clinton Street and a speed bump. Staff feels that there is no justification for an All-Way stop at this intersection due to the fact that there are existing traffic signals upstream and down stream from this intersection and the intersection was just reconstructed with new curb ramps and crosswalk markings. The request to install a speed bump on Clinton Street, is not recommended since the intersection is brand new and it would take significant redesign of the entire intersection and cost to incorporate a speed bump. Staff recommends no action on this item.
