Title: Please adjust the placement of the “No Parking Here to Drive” signs on east side of N. University Drive to be the following: A) At the southern most driveway to Linden Grove to be 50 feet south of center of driveway. B) At the northern most driveway to Linden Grove to be 50 feet south of center of driveway.

Recommendation

This item was brought forward by Public Works and Transit.  Transit had recently removed 2 bus stops on N. University Drive north of Michigan Avenue near the Linden Grove complex.  With removal of the bus stops, the existing allowable parking can be modified accordingly.  No Parking for the former bus stops is being proposed to be adjusted to be approximately 50 feet from the driveways described above instead of 80 to 100 feet.  The cost for this signing will be around $100.
