Recommendation
This item was requested by a concerned resident and supported by Ald. Cummings. The request is to paint crosswalk marking on Penhurst Drive on the west side of intersection with Rempe Drive and also paint crosswalk markings on Rempe Drive on the north leg of intersection. These crosswalk markings will bring a more visual awareness to drivers who predominantly drive from Rempe to Penhurst and vice versa. Since the Rempe Drive does not stop, the crosswalk on the north leg would be enhanced with Pedestrian crossing signing. Public Works staff supports installation of these crosswalk enhancements.
