Recommendation
This referral was made by Public Works and the Fire Department. The Fire Department has requested No Parking on both sides of Walden Circle to insure that no vehicles are parked that might prohibit emergency vehicles. A recent fire call to Walden Circle was not completed because the fire truck could not make it around the circle portion of the street because cars were parked there. Due to the tight geometry of the curved street, parked cars will impede emergency vehicles. Staff agrees with placing no parking signs to insure safe passage of emergency vehicles.
