Recommendation
This referral was made by Ald. Cummings. Residents have requested better crosswalk marking and ability to cross Racine Avenue at Roberta. An existing crosswalk exists today, but it is faded. At this time, the Department of Public Works will defer to Ald. Cummings and the Committee to discuss the level of improvement to be considered. It should be noted that Racine Avenue, at Roberta is the jurisdiction of Waukesha County and they would have to approve any upgrades. Staff recommends no action on this item or that this item be put on hold for further review.
