Recommendation

This item was brought forward by the Department of Public Works on behalf of GE Power.  The facilities manager for GE Power had asked if the City would approve the installation of a cross-walk warning paddle (sign) to be placed on W. St. Paul Avenue at the main crosswalk near their main entrance.  They feel that addition of this sign will offer more visual queue to drivers that a crosswalk is present.  Staff informed GE that they would have to pay for, install and maintain this crosswalk.  They agreed to those terms.   Department of Public Works does not see any issues with approving this request.
