Recommendation
This request was referred by Ald. Perry to have a warning sign installed on Valley Hill to warn drivers of the potential for an autistic child that may be present in the area. This type of signing has been installed in the past on Victoria Drive and School Drive. Although the Department of Public Works feels that signing of this nature is not very effective, it can be installed as a warning sign with the stipulation that the sign is removed when the person (or family) has moved. Signs will be removed at that time. If approved, signs shall be placed near 206 and 917 Valley Hill Drive.
