Recommendation
Referral was make by the Department of Public Works. The City resurfaced the intersection of Motor Avenue & Mountain Avenue in 2018. Upon completion of the project, the intersection was upgraded with new markings and signing. It was noticed that no stop sign existing for southbound Mountain Avenue at Motor. Mountain Avenue is a one-way street from St. Paul to Motor and, because of the steep uphill grade, northbound Mountain Avenue traffic does not stop. To insure safe use of the intersection, the other two directions must stop. This item is to approve the stop condition on southbound Mountain Avenue.
