Recommendation
This item was brought forward by the Department of Public Works and endorsed by Ald. E. Payne. In Summer of 2019, the City will be repaving W. Moreland Blvd. from Delafield Street to Gascoigne Drive. The repaving will make improvements to the crosswalk at Airport Road and improve pavement markings along the corridor. Currently, parking is not restricted on either side and this item is to approve No Parking Any Time on either side of the street. With a high daily volume of traffic in W. Moreland Blvd., it is unsafe to park on the street and drivers often drive two lanes each direction without regard to parked vehicles.
