This item was brought forward by Ald. Helgestad. Business owners at 407 N. Grand Avenue have a business and need to have a back-lot entrance / exit into Lot 8. Other nearby business already have a driveway entrance / exit to Lot 8. Engineering staff has measured the area and determined that the cost to install a driveway apron in the area requested would cost approximately $1,500 to $2,000 if done with City contracted concrete crews. Engineering has no objections to the driveway exit if the business owner pays for the installation.
