Recommendation
This item was brought forward by Ald. Cummings to review issues with traffic merging on E. Sunset Drive east of Les Paul Avenue and at the entrance to the Speedway gas station. This item will be discussed by staff under the Communications section of the agenda. The Department of Public Works is familiar with this issue and has been researching a solution for the past year. Staff will be presenting some possible options at the meeting and making a recommendation for installing pavement marking. Staff will be requesting to use $3,100 from the safety projects budget.
