Recommendation
This item was brought forward by Ald. E. Payne on behalf of owners of Metal-Tek. Drivers exiting the factory on Collins Street going north have a hard time seeing eastbound vehicles on E. St. Paul Avenue. In order to increase the vision distance for northbound drivers, a sign saying No Parking Here to Drive is recommended to be placed at 105 feet west of centerline of Collins Street to remove the parked cars. The total cost to install the sign for this parking zone would be around $100.
