This item was brought forward by Ald. E. Payne. The car wash owner has requested to reduce the amount of parking along E. St. Paul Avenue. adjacent to the car wash building to provide more room for drivers exiting the driveway to E. St. Paul Avenue and going eastbound. Some cars park to close to the driveway and would like more room for safety purposes. Engineering staff has reviewed this request and have recommended eliminating up to 4 parking spots. The total cost to adjust the signing for this parking zone would be around $100.
