Recommendation
This item was brought forward by Administrator Lahner on behalf of leaders of the Montessori School concerned with parent drop off and pick up and the adjacent Hyde Park Avenue Parking Zones conflicting with these times and activities. Also concern that cars park to close to the crosswalk. The Montessori School is currently renting the old Blair Elementary school. To that end, several suggestions were made to adjust or remove the parking zones on east side of Hyde Park Avenue. Engineering staff is presenting the subject options for changing, essentially removing, the old parking zone. There is no cost to remove the old signing.
