Recommendation
This item was referred by Ald. Miller in response to a study that was completed by Engineering staff for accident issues and non-compliance of stop signs at the intersection of Arcadian Avenue and Pleasant Street. Ald. Miller is requesting the expenditure of funds to purchase LED blinking stop signs at the intersection. The staff study report indicated support for a flashing system as means to reinforce awareness of the stop condition. The Department of Public Works does not have any issues with this item.
