Woodman's Claim alleging excessive assessment.The City is currently in litigation over several years of tax assessments against this property. The assessment has not changed and Woodman's filed this claim on two separate parcels requesting a refund of the excessive taxes paid. Presumably this claim will be added to the pending litigation for resolution at trial in the circuit court. The city attorney recommends that the common council deny the claim for each property and direct the city clerk to serve the required notice to the tax payer.
