the Minutes of February 5, 2026, be approved. The motion carried by the

5. Public Hearing - Proposed Services Changes Effective June 15, 2026

Brian Engelking, Metro Transit Manager, presented this item.  
Mark Zarwell, 1219 S. Grandview Blvd., spoke asking Route 6 to run longer. Takes that  
Route everyday when he goes to work and transfers at Route 1.  
Brian Engelking stated he also received another comment from a gentleman by the name  
of Michael who did not leave a last name or address, who was opposed the Route 9  
reductions because he uses the weekday bus.  
A motion was made by Member Kevin Reilly, seconded by Ald. Eric Payne, to  
open the Public Hearing regarding the Proposed Service Changes Effective June  
15, 2026, at 5.32 p.m. The motion carried by the following vote:

close the Public Hearing - Proposed Service Changes Effective June 15, 2026, at  
5:46 p.m.. The motion carried by the following vote:

6. Discussion and Recommendation to Council Regarding:  
ID#26-03134 Review and Act on Proposed Service Changes Effective June 15, 2026  
A.  
Member Reilly asked about the WCTC reductions and if there are any recommendations  
not running on Saturday unless paid for by others such as WCTC or the YMCA. He  
asked to make effort to reach out to people affected.  
Metro Transit Manager Engelking responded to Mr. Zarwell's concern and will reach out to  
him to see if he is eligible for MetroLift Services.  
A motion was made by Ald. Eric Payne, seconded by Member Kevin Reilly, that  
the Service Changes Effective June 15, 2026, be recommended for Council  
Consent to the City Council. The motion carried by the following vote:

Review and Act on Resolution Authorizing the Filing of the 2026 Federal  
Transit Grant  
A motion was made by Ald. Eric Payne, seconded by Member Kevin Reilly, that  
the Resolution Authorizing the Filing of the 2026 Federal Transit Grant be  
recommended for Council Consent. The motion carried by the following vote:

7. Communications and Referrals:  
Brian Engelking informed the Commission of a pending invite to Badger Drive to see  
buses and view the bus wash.

A motion was made that the meeting be adjourned. The motion carried  
unanimously.
