Review and Possible Action on Finance Committee recommendation to
the City Council to adopt the 2026 Operating Budget
A motion was made by Lemke and seconded by Pieper to amend the Operating
Budget to reduce proposed employee wage increase from 3.5% to 3.0%. The
motion failed by the following vote:
Aye: 2 - Joe Pieper, and Rick R. Lemke
Nay: 3 - Elizabeth Moltzan, Alicia Halvensleben, and Doreen Wigderson
A motion was made by Pieper and seconded by Halvensleben, to recommend to
the City Council to adopt the 2026 Operating Budget as presented with a total
General Fund operating budget of $84,127,448.00. The motion carried by the
following vote:
